Organization

Eclosion SA is a development platform operating under the aegis of the canton of Geneva.

The board of directors comprises eminent members of the region’s business and scientific communities, who support and advise the canton in supervising the incubator’s operations. 

The management team offers a full range of business, scientific and financial expertise for researchers using the incubator to test the applications of their discoveries. They decide which projects to support, and pass on these recommendations to the board of directors. Each project is individually managed by an ad-hoc team of experts in the relevant areas. 

Management is also supported by a Scientific committee, which plays a key role in setting up these teams and drawing up validation plans for the discoveries.
We work closely with our partner financial organisation, Eclosion2 & Cie SCPC, which provides the capital required by the incubated startups to get through the often difficult first few years of their existence.
Experience has shown that Eclosion2’s involvement as reference shareholder makes it much easier to obtain third-party investment for startups.
